Congratulations again for being accepted as part of the IMSVISUAL Summer School 2024 program, and welcome to your resource for all up-to-date information regarding your participation as a poster presenter! This page will be updated throughout the planning process, so please be sure to bookmark.

Important Dates

Registration: Poster presenters must register for the IMSVISUAL Summer School 2024.
Poster Presentation Guidelines
Poster presentations should be self-contained and self-explanatory.
The abstract title should be emphasized at the top of the poster with author(s) and affiliation(s).
Content should flow from left to right and be oriented horizontally (landscape).
Disclosure information relevant to the work should be provided.
Poster presentations should not contain any of the following: commercial logos, company names, brand or proprietary drug names.
Poster Change Requests
Please submit any Poster Change Requests via email to Karie Krantz at kkrantz@imsvisual.org.
*Abstracts should be withdrawn only under extraordinary circumstances. Please first try to find a replacement presenter. The deadline to withdraw a poster is Friday, Friday June 21.
Onsite Presentation Information
POSTER DIMENSIONS
The maximum poster size is 3.5 FT HIGH X 6 FT WIDE. The poster should fit within the display area in landscape orientation. Text and illustrations should be easily readable from 3-6 feet away.
POSTER SESSIONS SCHEDULE
There will be one poster held in the Gallery at the Peter Gilgan Center for Research and Learning (PGCRL). Poster presenters must stand by their posters during the poster session.
POSTER MOUNTING AND REMOVAL SCHEDULE
Poster numbers will be displayed on each poster board; please mount your poster under your poster number. Velcro to attach the posters will be provided.
All posters MUST be mounted by the start of the scheduled poster session. Posters may be mounted beginning at 2:15 PM.
Presenters who wish to take their posters home should plan to personally remove their posters by 7:15 PM.
All posters remaining after the designated removal times will be discarded after the poster session.
Health and Safety
IMSVISUAL will encourage healthy behaviors onsite at the Summer School 2024 that prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other illness and implement health and safety protocols appropriate at the time of the meeting. Compliance with health and safety protocols adopted by IMSVISUAL may be mandatory for attendance and participation. Information regarding specific health and safety protocols, and any necessary consents by attendees, will be communicated prior to the first day of the IMSVISUAL.
